Charlotte Emborg
Dr Charlotte Emborg Mafi obtained her medical degree from the University of Aarhus, Denmark, and subsequently completed residential training at Soenderborg Hospital and at a Primary Care Clinic in Augustenborg, Denmark. She later undertook specialist training in psychiatry before working in the Psychiatric Hospital, Aarhus, in outpatient treatment, and since 2009 in the OPUS clinic for young people with schizophrenia. She is the chief medical officer at OPUS, ADHD and Dual Diagnosis Teams. Dr Emborg Mafi is trained in CBT of psychotic illnesses and she has several years of experience working with patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD and psychoses in an outpatient setting. She is a member of DSKP, Danish Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, and she collaborates with Psykiatrifonden on raising the awareness of psychiatric illnesses and destigmatization of schizophrenia. Dr Emborg Mafi has published in international journals in the field of psychopharmacology, psychotic illnesses and eating disorders.

Stephan Hjorth
Stephan Hjorth is professor of Pharmacology. He has more than 45 years of experience in preclinical neuro- and psychopharmacological research in both Academic and ‘Big Pharma’ industrial research settings. Since his PhD thesis with Nobel Prize winner Arvid Carlsson in 1983 on the prototype of a partial dopamine agonist he has published more than 370 scientific reports (papers, abstracts, book chapters, textbook; >12000 citations, H-index = 56). During his more than 12 yrs at AstraZeneca he was Principal Scientist, project lead & pharmacology responsible in obesity/appetite/diabetes/metabolism areas. He has extensive experience with R&D project work from preclinical to early phase human studies. After leaving AstraZeneca in 2014 Stephan acts as independent pharmacology consultant, providing scientific expertise and advise, support and training in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.

Markku Lätheenvou
Markku Lätheenvou is an associate professor of forensic psychiatry and a specialist in substance abuse medicine. He has worked for more than ten years in various clinical roles in the fields of psychiatry and substance abuse medicine. In addition to his clinical work, he has been involved in several research projects, including psychiatric genetics, pharmacoepidemiology and forensic psychiatry, and currently works as a Research Director at the largest forensic hospital in the Nordics, Niuvanniemi hospital. He is also an active teacher and lecturer both in Finland and internationally.
